The Renaissance master Michelangelo created this sculpture for the Tomb of Julius II in S. Pietro in Vincoli, Rome, 1513-16. It is the centerpiece of an unfinished masterpiece which he worked on intermittently for forty years. Made from resin, grey marble finish, 10.5"H x 6"W x 6"D.
